a) Account Information (Google Sign-In)

When you sign in with Google, we receive:

• Your display name
• Your profile picture URL
• A unique Google identifier

b) YouTube Data (When You Link Your YouTube Channel)

If you choose to link your YouTube channel, we request access to the YouTube Data API with the following scope:

• youtube.readonly — View your YouTube account information

What we access and why:

• Your channel ID and name: To identify your YouTube channel and display it on your profile.
• Your subscription status: To verify if you are subscribed to a giveaway host's channel (only when entering giveaways that require subscription).
• Your video ratings (likes): To verify if you have liked a specific video (only when entering giveaways that require liking a video).
• Comment threads: To verify if you have commented on a specific video (only when entering giveaways that require commenting).
• Channel statistics: Subscriber count and video count (used for promo code eligibility and display purposes).

What we DO NOT do:

• We do NOT post, upload, or modify any content on your YouTube channel.
• We do NOT access your private videos, playlists, or watch history.
• We do NOT share your YouTube data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do NOT store the content of your comments or subscriptions — only verification results (yes/no).

c) Usage Data

We collect basic technical information to operate and secure the Service:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and timestamps
• Error logs for debugging

d) Payment Information

If you purchase credits, payments are processed by Stripe. We do NOT store your full credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data securely. We only receive confirmation of payment, transaction ID, and the amount paid.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Service: Creating giveaways, verifying entries, managing your account, processing payments.
• To verify giveaway entries: Checking subscriptions, likes, and comments via the YouTube API when you enter giveaways.
• To prevent fraud: Using reliability scores and entry verification to ensure fair giveaways.
• To communicate with you: Sending notifications about wins, disputes, and important account updates.
• To improve the Service: Analyzing usage patterns to fix bugs and improve features.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy

YTDrops' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:

• Service providers: Hosting (Render), payments (Stripe), and database services that process data on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred to the new entity.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. YouTube access tokens are stored securely to maintain your channel connection. If you delete your account or revoke access, we will delete your data within 30 days, except for records required for legal/billing compliance.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Access your data: View your account information by logging in to your dashboard.
• Update your data: Update your profile by relinking your Google account.
• Revoke YouTube access: Go to your Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Remove YTDrops.
• Delete your data: Request account deletion via our Data Deletion page or by emailing support@ytdrops.com.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure session cookies, and secure storage of OAuth tokens. However, no system is 100% secure. Please protect your account credentials and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Children's Privacy

YTDrops is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
