Common Issues & Fixes

I can't log in with Google

Try these steps:

  • Clear your browser cookies and cache
  • Try a different browser (Chrome works best)
  • Disable browser extensions that might block popups
  • Make sure you're allowing third-party cookies

If it still doesn't work, email us with the error message you see.

My YouTube channel won't link

This usually happens if:

  • You don't have a YouTube channel associated with your Google account
  • You denied the permission request — try again and click "Allow"
  • There's a browser extension blocking the OAuth popup

If you previously linked and it stopped working, try unlinking and relinking from the Settings page.

Verification says I haven't subscribed/liked/commented but I did

YouTube's API can have a delay of a few minutes. Try:

  • Wait 2-3 minutes and click "Re-verify"
  • Make sure you're logged into the correct YouTube account
  • For comments, make sure your comment is public (not held for review)
  • For subscriptions, make sure you actually clicked Subscribe (not just the bell)
I won but haven't received my prize

First, check if the host provided claim instructions on your Wins page. If you've followed the instructions and still haven't received the prize after a few days:

  1. Go to your My Wins page
  2. Click "File Dispute" on the winning entry
  3. Describe the issue — the host will have 21 days to respond with evidence

We take disputes seriously and hosts with unresolved disputes will have their reliability score reduced.

I want to delete my account and data

You have two options:

  1. Email us at support@ytdrops.com with "Delete My Account" in the subject line
  2. Revoke access in your Google Account: Go to Google Account → Security → Third-party apps and remove YTDrops

Payment didn't go through but I was charged

Payments are processed by Stripe. If you were charged but didn't receive credits:

  • Wait a few minutes and refresh your dashboard
  • Check your email for a Stripe receipt
  • If credits still don't appear, email us with your account email and the last 4 digits of the card used
